Detailed Itinerary

🕌 Day 1: Casablanca – Hassan II Mosque – Asilah – Tangier

Your Morocco adventure starts with a warm welcome at Casablanca Airport. Visit the impressive Hassan II Mosque, one of the largest in the world. Then drive along the Atlantic coast to the charming seaside town of Asilah, where you can walk the white-washed medina walls. Later, continue to Tangier where you’ll spend your first night in a beautiful riad.

🏞️ Day 2: Tangier – Tetouan – Chefchaouen

After breakfast, head towards the blue gem of Morocco – Chefchaouen. On the way, stop in Tetouan, known for its Andalusian vibes and unique medina. Once in Chefchaouen, enjoy free time to explore its famous blue streets, local markets, and waterfalls like Ras El Ma. Overnight in a cozy riad in the heart of town.

🕌 Day 3: Chefchaouen – Fes

After breakfast, drive to Fes, the spiritual and cultural heart of Morocco. Arrive in the evening and check into a traditional riad located inside the ancient medina.

🧭 Day 4: Fes Full-Day Guided Tour

Spend the day exploring Fes with a local guide. Visit the Al Quaraouiyine University (the oldest in the world), the colorful tanneries, the Royal Palace gates, Mellah (Jewish quarter), and Nejjarine Museum. You’ll also stop at a pottery workshop before enjoying a panoramic view over the whole medina. Night in the same riad.

🌄 Day 5: Fes – Ifrane – Azrou – Midelt – Ziz Valley – Merzouga

After breakfast, travel south through the Middle Atlas Mountains. Stop in Ifrane (known as the “Switzerland of Morocco”) and the cedar forest of Azrou where wild monkeys live. Enjoy lunch in Midelt, then continue to the Ziz Valley and finally Merzouga, gateway to the Sahara Desert. Overnight in a desert hotel.

🐪 Day 6: Merzouga Desert – Nomads – Camel Trek – Desert Camp

Today, explore the Merzouga area and its unique way of life. Visit a nomadic family, try Berber pizza in Khamlia village, and listen to live Gnawa music. In the afternoon, ride camels into the dunes to watch the sunset. Dinner and overnight in a luxury Berber camp under the stars.

⛰️ Day 7: Merzouga – Erfoud – Todra Gorges – Dades Valley

Wake up early to catch a magical desert sunrise. Ride camels back to Merzouga, freshen up, and head to Erfoud (famous for fossils). Continue to the Todra Valley and walk between its towering canyon walls. Drive through scenic mountain roads to Dades Valley. Overnight in a hotel with great views.

🎥 Day 8: Dades Valley – Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – High Atlas – Marrakech

After breakfast, travel the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs. Visit the Rose Valley and Skoura palm grove. In Ouarzazate, stop by the Taourirt Kasbah, then explore Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site and famous movie location. Later, drive through the stunning High Atlas Mountains, crossing the Tizi-n-Tichka pass, and reach Marrakech by evening.

🕌 Day 9: Exploring Marrakech

Explore the highlights of Marrakech with a local guide. Visit the Bahia Palace, Koutoubia Mosque, Saadian Tombs, Majorelle Garden, and Ben Youssef Madrasa. After lunch, dive into the souks and enjoy the colors and smells of the Medina. Evening at leisure in the Jemaa el-Fnaa square. Overnight in a beautiful riad.
