Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Fes – Ifrane – Azrou – Midelt – Ziz Valley – Merzouga Desert
After breakfast, your adventure begins with departure from Fes towards the Sahara Desert.
The first stop is Ifrane, often called the “Switzerland of Morocco” because of its European-style architecture and clean mountain surroundings. Continue to the cedar forests of Azrou, home to the famous Barbary macaque monkeys.
After lunch in Midelt, travel through the spectacular Ziz Valley, one of Morocco’s largest palm groves, offering incredible panoramic views of thousands of date palms and traditional villages.
Arrive in Merzouga in the late afternoon where you will be welcomed with traditional Moroccan mint tea before checking into your riad near the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi.

Day 2: Merzouga Desert Excursion – Khamlia – Nomad Families – Camel Trekking
After breakfast, enjoy a fascinating desert exploration by 4×4 vehicle.
Visit the village of Khamlia, famous for its traditional Gnawa music. Meet local musicians and discover the rich cultural heritage of southern Morocco.

Day 3: Merzouga – Rissani – Todra Gorges – Dades Valley
